The Yamuna Expressway is a modern transport artery in Uttar Pradesh, linking Greater Noida to Agra over a distance of about 165 km. Designed as a six-lane access-controlled roadway (expandable to eight), the expressway was conceived to reduce travel time and relieve traffic on older highways between Delhi and Agra. Beyond its functional role, the drive along the expressway offers glimpses of the changing landscape of western Uttar Pradesh and serves as a gateway for visitors heading to Agra’s heritage-rich zone.
